Fig Distillate 500ml

Found in all of the Adriatic, the white fig is a particular variety spread throughout the wilderness of the Croatian islands, between olive trees and wild juniper plants. The harvesting of these fruits is quite difficult, as almost all of the territory it grows on is made of rocky slopes facing the sea. The white fig gives its best only at full ripeness, and it’s for this reason that we wait until it’s almost dry, to develop its full aromas and sugary grade. Sadly, often the ripening does not take place at the same rate for every fig, and as such we must go back to on every plant multiple times. The harvested fruits at the end of the day get crammed into containers and it’s then that the fermentation begins. Having obtained the needed quantity for distilling, the figs get immediately brought here at the distillery to get grinded and to complete the fermentation process. After almost thirty years we’ve chosen to continually propose this distillate that offers a union between the ripe dried fruity taste and the fresher vegetal ones of the prickly pears. In the mouth it’s enveloping, velvety and persistent.
